How Long Do They Last ?

It's tough to be a boot in the equine environment.

Stable beds and muck heaps are full of manure and soaked in urine. This and the constant wet will destroy your boots in a matter of months.

Most riding footwear is made to a fashion standard of about 800 hours of continuous wear and not designed to withstand such a harsh environment. That's why boots need to be replaced so frequently

However all Equitector riding boots are designed for "Hard Labour".

These are made to withstand 2500 hours of use and therefore provided they are cared for, will last about 2 to 3 times as long.

With waterproof leather and acid resistant soles, they are designed to cope with the conditions at the stables.

Hardly surprising that often Equitector wearers are still on their original pair after 2 or even 3 years of loyal service.

Equitector hard wearing soles

The soles under Equitector Riding Boots are designed for use on the ground as well as in the saddle.

The shape of the heel reduces the risk of your foot becoming trapped in the stirrup iron and it is positioned with the support strap of a half chap or gaiter in mind.

The forepart is flat with shallow rounded cleats which avoids them becoming clogged up with muck as this could can make your boots slippery and dangerous.

These hard wearing soles are slip resistant and provide excellent grip on any surface whether dry or wet and in snow and improve your personal safety.

The soles under Equitector Riding Boots give you the best protection whilst in the saddle and on the ground.

Slip resistant soles
Whilst our slip resistant soles reduce the risk of trips and slips, the risk of an accident can never be fully eliminated.
